Lisa S. Beal was hired by the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America as environmental affairs director. She comes from the Hazardous Waste Management Association, where she was transportation/safety manager.

Commissioner Stan Wise was elected second v.p. of the Southeastern Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners. Wise is vice chair of the Georgia Public Service Commission.

The City of Anaheim Public Utilities hired Dale Tarkington away from Arizona Public Service Co. Tarkington will serve as assistant g.m., electric services.

Eugene W. Zeltmann was appointed deputy chair of the New York Public Service Commission, taking the seat of Lisa Rosenblum, who resigned in May. Zeltmann was appointed to the PSC last December.

Charles E. Davis, Jr. was promoted to assistant g.m.-power production at Arizona Electric Power Cooperative's Apache Generating Station. Larry Huff, former power operations manager, will be assistant g.m.-power delivery.

The Missouri Valley Electric Association (MVEA) elected Norman E. Jackson president. Jackson is executive v.p.-transmission and engineering services for Western Resources, Inc. Charles R. Cole, customer services v.p. for Kansas City Power & Light Co., was elected v.p.

William C. Carmon of United Cities Gas Co. was promoted to marketing v.p. He moves up from marketing director. Carol J. Knies was promoted to shareholder relations manager.

UtiliCorp United, Inc. shareholders reelected two directors and chose a third. Robert F. Jackson, Jr., retired president of CharterCorp, and Herman Cain, chair and CEO of Godfather's Pizza, Inc., were reelected. Robert K. Green, UtiliCorp president, was elected to his first three-year term.
