AGL Resources announced the reorganization of its six-state territory into two divisions-the Mid-Atlantic Operations (Maryland, New Jersey, and Virginia) and Southern Operations (Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee). One division will be overseen by Hank Linginfelter , who will become senior vice president, Mid-Atlantic Operations, and the other by Suzanne Sitherwood , who was named senior vice president, Southern Operations. Eric Martinez , formerly senior vice president at AGL Resources division, Pivotal Energy Development, will report to Linginfelter and will become vice president and general manager of Elizabethtown Gas. Charles Rawson , formerly managing director, wholesale services, at Atlanta Gas Light, will report to Sitherwood as vice president and general manager, City Gas of Florida.

The Board of Directors of CH Energy Group Inc. appointed Joseph J. DeVirgilio Jr . to the position of executive vice president of corporate services and administration, effective Jan. 1, 2005. DeVirgilio, who will hold the same duties and title within wholly owned subsidiary Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp., had previously served as senior vice president of CH Energy Group since February 2003, and has had responsibility for corporate services within the utility since 1998.
Karla Hall has been named vice president of the DTE Energy Foundation by the foundation's board of directors. Hall has been secretary and a director of the foundation since joining Detroit Edison in 1997 as administrator of corporate contributions. She is currently manager of corporate contributions & community involvement for DTE Energy.
New Jersey Resources appointed Kathleen T. Ellis senior vice president of corporate affairs. Since 2002, Ellis has served as director of communications for Gov. James E. McGreevey .

The Empire District Electric Co. today announced that Mr. Melvin F. (Nick) Chubb Jr . would retire from its board of directors on April 28, 2005. Kenneth R. Allen has been nominated to fill the board vacancy left by Mr. Chubb's retirement and will stand for election at the company's April 28, 2005, annual meeting of shareholders. Allen is vice president and treasurer of Texas Industries Inc.
