Exelon Generation promoted Charles “Chip” Pardee to COO from president and chief nuclear officer of Exelon Nuclear and senior v.p. of Exelon Generation. Michael Pacilio , senior v.p. and COO of Exelon Nuclear, assumed Pardee’s former titles. Doyle Beneby , senior v.p. of Exelon Power, was promoted to president of Exelon Power. Susan Landahl , senior v.p. of Exelon Nuclear’s Midwest operations, was promoted to COO and senior v.p., Exelon Nuclear.
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) named John M. Thomas III as CFO. He was serving in the new position of executive v.p. for people and performance. Janet Herrin succeeds him in that position and was TVA’s senior v.p. for river operations.

Richard Smith was promoted from Entergy’s president and COO to president, Entergy wholesale commodity business. Mark Savoff , Entergy’s executive v.p. of operations, was named COO with added responsibility for nuclear operations. Renae Conley , president and CEO of Entergy Louisiana and Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, is expected to ascend to executive v.p. of Entergy’s human resources and administration organization in 2011. Bill Mohl succeeds Conley as president and CEO of Entergy Louisiana and Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, from Entergy’s v.p. of system planning and operations. Charles Rice is appointed president and CEO of Entergy New Orleans. Andrew Marsh is appointed Entergy’s v.p., system planning and operations from v.p., planning and financial communications.
IDACORP and subsidiary Idaho Power (IP), announced Daniel B. Minor as the newly appointed executive v.p. for IDACORP and he continues as executive v.p. of operations for IP. John R. Gale is promoted to senior v.p. of corporate responsibility and had led IP’s regulatory affairs. Ken W. Petersen is promoted to executive officer for IDACORP, and IP as corporate controller and chief accounting officer. Steve R. Keen, v.p. of finance and treasurer, expanded his responsibilities to include controller functions and corporate planning and analysis. Lori D. Smith , v.p. and chief risk officer, has expanded responsibilities for risk management, audit, corporate security and compliance. Naomi Shankel , previously v.p. of audit and compliance, has new functions as v.p. of supply chain. Luci K. McDonald is expanding her role as v.p. of human resources to include property services and fleet as v.p. of human resources and corporate services.
