Constellation and Bloom Energy to Develop 40 MW of Fuel Cell Projects

Constellation and Bloom Energy plan to develop 40 MW of Bloom Energy fuel cell projects for commercial and public sector customers in California, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. Under the agreement, Constellation will provide equity financing and own a majority equity interest in Bloom Energy Servers at more than 170 sites for customers, including AT&T, the City of Hartford, Conn., and Walmart among others. Constellation and Bloom Energy plan to complete the installations in phases by the end of 2016.

Constellation and CCBC Begin Construction of 5.1-MW Solar Project

Constellation, a subsidiary of Exelon, and the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) began construction of a 5.1-MW solar generation project in Baltimore County. The solar power system, spread among the college's three main campuses in Dundalk, Essex and Catonsville, is expected to generate enough electricity to meet approximately 27 percent of the college's electricity needs. Constellation will also install 10 duplex electric vehicle charging stations as part of the project.

OneEnergy Renewables Develops 4.3-MW Solar Energy System with Constellation for National Aquarium

OneEnergy Renewables and Constellation developed a 4.3-MW solar electric project located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The off-site system, which is part of an electricity supply agreement between Constellation and the National Aquarium, will provide power for approximately 40 percent of the Aquarium's electricity requirements for the next 25 years.

Comverge and Constellation signed an agreement to combine their demand response businesses serving commercial and industrial (C&I) customers. City of Palmdale and Constellation Complete 976-kW Solar Generation Project

The city of Palmdale announced the completion of an aggregate 976-kW DC solar generation project. Located at Palmdale's Civic Center, DryTown Water Park and Marie Kerr Park, the system is designed to generate more than 1,580 MW-hours of electricity per year and meet nearly 70 percent of the electricity needs for the three sites. Constellation financed the project's development and will own and operate the system.
