PUC Staff It’s an exciting time to work in the utility industry with technological advancements, changes in market structure, and new policy directives. The Oregon Public Utility Commission (PUC) team is a dedicated group of professionals driven by our mission to ensure Oregon utility customers have access to safe, reliable, and high quality utility services at just and reasonable rates.
 

Our major areas of responsibility include:
  • Anticipating, informing, and integrating policy, industry, market and technology changes.
  • Managing customer and community choices to ensure value for all.
  • Scrutinizing utility costs, risks, and performance to ensure just and reasonable rates.
  • Ensuring safety, reliability, and quality of essential utility services.

Office Locations

Although not all PUC employees live in Salem, there are many reasons to consider a move to this community. There’s something about Salem!
 
PUC employees may also take advantage of the Portland office, reducing the number of commute days for eligible team members who live in the Portland metropolitan-area.
