ENTERGY Power Group named Charles J. Brown III group president of development. Previously, Brown was responsible for Entergy's European project development.

Shahid J. Malik was promoted from senior vice president and COO to president and CEO of Entergy Power Marketing Corp. Malik joined the company in February 1997.

Ameren Energy, Ameren Corp.'s new independent energy marketing and trading affiliate, named Shannon B. Burchett president. Burchett previously served as senior vice president of marketing with Duke/Louis Dreyfus.

Harold W. Keiser, vice president and COO for the nuclear unit of Commonwealth Edison in Illinois, will become president and chief nuclear officer for Public Service Electric Gas Co. in April. Leon Eliason, who has worked in the position for three years, plans to retire.

Directors of Amerigas Propane Inc. have elected Martha B. Lindsay vice president of finance and CFO. Lindsay's previous position was as vice president and treasurer of Tambrands Inc.

Don Baker, former general manager of marketing for General Electric's Power Systems Energy Consulting Group, was appointed vice president, EPRI International.

George E. Gordon was named president and CEO of Golden Heart Utilities Inc. Gordon will continue to serve as CEO of College Utilities Corp. besides his duties at GHU.

Kristina Sheehan joined The Power Company of America as coal traffic manager.

William S. Weaver was elected CEO of Puget Sound Energy. Weaver, who will remain president of Puget Sound Energy, will assume the added responsibilities of CEO.
