Craig Glazer, former commissioner and chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, has joined PJM Interconnection LLC as manager of regulatory affairs. Glazer was a member of the board of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners.

The North American Electric Reliability Council has appointed Dr. Fred I. Denny to manager—support services. Previously, Denny had served on the engineering faculty of McNeese State University and at Southern Company Services.

D.N. Rose, president and CEO of Questar Gas, has been elected chairman of the American Gas Association's board for 2001. Also elected as 2001 officers were first vice chair William Michael Warren Jr., chairman, president, and CEO of Energen Corp., and immediate past chair Gary Neale, chairman, president, and CEO of NiSource Inc.

Calpine Corp. has named Richard W. Haviland senior vice president. Previously, Haviland held various positions with Bechtel in the fossil power business.

Ameren Corp. has appointed Mary Heger its first-ever manager of eBusiness development. AmerenEnergy Fuel and Services Co. also made several appointments: Michael G. Mueller has been named vice president; Robert K. Neff was named manager, coal supply and transportation; and Daniel J. Lidisky was named manager, fuel business development.
