William Mahoney, CEO of Excelergy, has joined the executive committee of the National Energy Marketers Association. Bob Dickerman, president of Sempra Energy, was elected vice chairman of the National Energy Marketers Association. Dickerman has been a member of the association since 1999.

Sempra Energy named three new members of its corporate board of directors. James G. Brocksmith Jr., William C. Rusnack, and William P. Rutledge. Their elections bring the number of Sempra Energy board members to 14. Brocksmith, an independent financial consultant since 1997, was deputy chairman and COO of KMPG Peat Marwick LLP. Rusnack is president and CEO of Premcor Inc., which he joined in 1998. Rutledge is chairman of Communications and Power Industries, a wireless technologies firm.

Chris Johns has been promoted to senior vice president and controller for PG&E Corp. Johns joined PG&E Corp. in 1996. Prior to that, he was a partner at KMPG Peat Marwick LLP, in their national public utilities practice.
