Three Commission Leaders on the Move

Deck:

NARUC, ICC, SEARUC

Fortnightly Magazine - July 2023

When you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. That saying is apropos for the three hardworking Commissioners named here, who all have much going on in their leadership roles.

Washington UTC Commissioner Ann Rendahl has served on many councils, committees, bodies, you name it, and earned the respect of her colleagues, so, it is no surprise she is now in line to become President of NARUC. Illinois CC Chair Carrie Zalewski is stepping down, having led a Commission that met all statutory deadlines in the first two years of that state's Climate and Equitable Jobs Act. Louisiana PSC Commissioner and SEARUC President Eric Skrmetta just wrapped up that latter term, having used his mediation skills to guide both organizations with an emphasis on dialogue.

Former NARUC President and Idaho Chair Paul Kjellander, now with PUF, understands the journeys these Commissioners have been on, and discussed with each of them what is unique. Listen in.
