The Global Electrification Forum (GEF) is EEI International Program’s annual gathering of the world’s leading electric companies, industry experts, and thought leaders for a week of collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The global electrification journey is inherently collaborative and interconnected. By providing a platform for cross-functional collaboration, the GEF empowers leaders and organizations to share best practices and drive actions toward a more sustainable future.

The eighth annual GEF will be held in Washington, D.C., from April 15-19 and will center on the theme of Infinite Innovations, Transformative Impact. Throughout the forum, we’ll be discussing leading practices for: Maintaining a People-Centered Transition; Electrifying Economies; Accelerating Innovation; Enhancing Diplomacy and Governance; Expanding Public-Private Collaboration; and Driving Financing and Investment.

Participants will gain strategic insights on these topics from industry leaders and practitioners and will explore different approaches to transitioning energy systems, including perspectives from other industries.
