The February 3rd column in "Today from Public Utilities Fortnightly," our digital daily distraction for you all, was entitled Singing Electricity. The column simply quoted David Bowie, Boz Skaggs, Ray Charles, Laurie Anderson, Dolly Parton, Damian Marley and Jimi Hendrix, talking emotionally about electricity. 

Many readers were evidently surprised and delighted about the daily columns departing for a day from our stats and analysis that map where the utilities industry is and is going. You sent us a ton of mail, figuratively; weightless e-mail, literally.
