Joe Hamrock has been NiSource President and Chief Executive Officer since July 1, 2015, and is also a member of the NiSource Board of Directors. Joe joined NiSource in May 2012 after serving in a variety of senior executive positions with American Electric Power (AEP), including President and Chief Operating Officer of AEP Ohio. At AEP, he also served in engineering, transmission and distribution operations, customer service, marketing and information technology. He began his energy industry career as an electrical engineer in transmission and distribution planning at AEP in Steubenville, Ohio.

Joe Hamrock: I'm having a lot of fun. Great people, great industry, great time to be in the business, dynamic change all around us.

Our focus at NiSource now is what you are seeing across the industry, this real new emphasis on customers. Customers' expectations, evolving needs, and increasing interest in energy issues.

I think that's a good thing. It gives us an opportunity to be responsive and help advance how we serve customers while we're investing in infrastructure and modernizing systems across both the electric and gas industry.
