PUF: What do you all do on a typical day?

Terry Pritchett: I worked for AT&T and retired at fifty-two. Then I ran my own business for three-and-a-half years. I showed up here, they hired me about eleven years ago, and I have been here ever since.

We do all the budgeting and accounting for the Commission. We account for each dollar that we spend, down to the penny. We have a very qualified staff of two people in the fiscal office, and I am connected to Human Resources (HR). Cheryl is the director of HR.

We are held to a very strict budget that is assigned by the governor. It has all the different components that you would have in running a business. We have payroll, which we call Personal Services. We just closed out fiscal year 2018, and Personal Services was 9.5 million.

Bill Edge, Cheryl Dumas, Reece McAlister

That is eighty-one percent of our budget.
