PUF's Steve Mitnick: What does your equipment do and why?

Girish Dahake: Ambrell's equipment is designed and developed to provide consistent, repeatable heat to manufacturing processes. If a company is looking to make multiple parts at a high rate where traditional forms of heat such as a flame or oven may not be energy efficient or repeatable, induction offers an alternative that allows them to make parts that overcome these issues.

Induction is not only repeatable, but it's extremely energy efficient. Our power supplies are designed to provide a distinct manufacturing advantage to our customers.

PUF: You get energy exactly where you need it, with exactly how much you need?

Girish Dahake: The energy delivery is not only exact and repeatable, it's also "on demand." If you are looking at any comparable heating method like a flame or an oven, you end up heating the entire part. With induction heating, a localized section can be heated, saving time and energy.
