There was a great turnout on March 8 for the USEA Women in Energy Roundtable to celebrate International Women's Day. Held at USEA headquarters in Washington, D.C., the panel discussed challenges and opportunities for women working in energy, how to ascend into leadership roles, education and career paths, overcoming obstacles, and how to increase diversity and gender balance within organizations and board rooms.
The panel was engaging, smart and fun! Moderated by Vicki Bailey founder, Anderson Stratton International LLC, with Beverly Marshall, vice president, governmental affairs, NEI; Dena Wiggins, president and CEO, NGSA; Sheila Hollis, partner and chair, Duane Morris, LLP; and Allison Archambault. president, EarthSpark International. There was lots of audience interaction and questions, but most of all, we didn't want it to end.
