Jim Judge is the CEO of Eversource.
PUF's Steve Mitnick: Can you give a framework of what you're trying to do in the company?
Jim Judge: Almost three years ago I became CEO, and I set out my vision of the company — to be broadly recognized as the best energy company in the country by 2020.
I was confident the foundation we already have in place would make that within reach. I have this poster that you would see if you visited any of our facilities that shows the road map to that title of best energy company.
I'll begin with the strength of our financial foundation. There are two measures of financial success. One is the financial condition of the company, and the other is the financial performance. When you look at financial condition, you use credit rating as its report card.
There are forty-two major utilities in this country, and we're the only one with an A+ credit rating.
