The PUF team received a warm welcome in the Magnolia State as we had made our way to Jackson. The Mississippi Public Service Commission is housed near the state Capitol in the beautiful art deco E.T. Woolfolk state office building. Those we were fortunate to engage with are excited about their jobs.

 

PUF: You are elected to the Commission. When were you first elected, and what does being elected mean for your work here? 

Commissioner Britton: This is my first term as Public Service Commissioner, which I was elected to four years ago.

My goal as a Commissioner was to resolve the Kemper issue and bring it to a resolution. I am proud of the fact that this was accomplished during my term. It took many people working together to resolve this issue. Many people are to be congratulated for their efforts.
