Attendees at events in Berkeley, Brooklyn, and San Antonio explored issues and opportunities for action on decarbonization. EPRI's 2019 Symposium Series kicked off in Berkeley California, July ten to twelve, with four hundred and thirty engaged participants. The symposium lived up to its promise to provide attendees a deeper dive into the specific regional issues and opportunities of end-use electrification as well as its costs and benefits.

Reflecting the regional flavor of this premier symposium in the series, hosts included UC Berkeley's Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) and the Banatao Institute, the California Independent System Operator (CAISO), the California Energy Commission, and its chair David Hochschild.
