PUF's Alex Revel: Talk about your daily role at Southern Company.
Johnny Howze: As it relates to supply chain, I'm responsible for all of Southern Company Gas, so that's our gas business. I'm also responsible for supply chain activities for our electric generating fleet of plants.
We've got about forty-two thousand megawatts of capacity, so most of the supply chain items come through there. Last but not least, under my leadership, we created a supply chain shared services group, and in this is supplier diversity.
We created a data analytics team to help us with supply chain analytics. Risk and compliance functions fall under that shared services group. I report to our Senior VP of Supply Chain, who also has responsibility for power delivery, all our enterprise services, and everything else.
