For thirty years, the Association of Energy Services Professionals, AESP, has been the gathering place for the leading thinkers and doers in energy efficiency and demand-side management. It grew in value and impact and in the size of its community under the watchful eyes of its longtime CEO, John Hargrove. Alas, John is retiring. But Jen Szaro is now taking the reins, with the mandate to broaden AESP's value and impact to related fields like electrification and decarbonization. Herein you'll see what Jen has in store.

Jen Szaro: I had a great job at SEPA, and I'm committed to finding ways to partner with them in the future in my new role. I love them. That being said, this was an incredible opportunity for me, and it was relatively easy to make the transition given my personal alignment with AESP's mission and focus.

We were members at the Orlando Utilities Commission back in my utility days. I was excited for the opportunity and I'm glad that it worked out to take on this role.
