The pandemic didn't stop these luminaries from the energy and utilities space from innovating in all types of technologies. Ninety individuals sprang into action, creating new tools or strategies to better serve their colleagues and communities. This year, PUF is celebrating these ninety Under Forties.
 

PUF's Steve Mitnick: You're the global product manager for an important line of products essential in our industry. Describe your job.

Müge Özerten: I started this position in March, so it's a new position for me. I was the transformers technology center manager in North America in my previous role.

The global product manager is responsible for the new product launches to the industry. He or she is also responsible to the client, and for defining the product group's strategy and roadmap, together with the technology managers, to increase our competitiveness, in terms of innovation and growth in our segment, in our markets. We ensure our market share is growing.

The responsibility for the product, in this case, is dry type transformers. I ensure we deliver value-added products to our customers with high reliability, we listen to our customers, and receive their feedback. We make the necessary changes and improvements, drive for continuous innovation while ensuring high quality products, in line with the voice of our customer.
