The CAMPUT 2021 Virtual Conference Part Two, held by our regulatory friends in Canada, was held October 18-19, 2021. Enjoy these memorable moments.

Chair, CAMPUT, Christine Long: I am the registrar of the Ontario Energy Board, and the immediate past Chair of CAMPUT. I welcome every one of you to the conference entitled, Emerging and Advancing Together.

As we emerge from the pandemic, the energy sector continues to face challenges and competing views on the way forward. Regulators understand the value of aligning interests, fostering collaboration, and creating a space for innovation, all to ensure the best outcomes in the public interest.

CAMPUT's October conference will focus on how key economic, social, and political forces are shaping the energy sector relationships regionally, federally, and internationally. Now, I would like to introduce Lise Duquette.

Lise is the program Chair for this conference, and we thank her for all her great work on putting together a great variety of speakers for you. Some of you will know that Lise joined the Régie de l'énergie du Québec in 2005 and is the Commissioner there. Prior to that, she held positions at Trans Québec and Maritime Pipelines and Gaz Métro.
