NARUC's 2022 Winter Policy Summit in Washington, D.C. had something for everyone, held during the Super Bowl and Valentine's Day, making regulation feel a bit more, well, fun. The business of regulation in the public interest was of course serious as usual, but there were footballs and hearts to be found.

The PUF team was there, and in these pages celebrates NARUC and some one thousand four hundred attendees, over ninety percent of whom were there in person. The Winter Summit had lots going on, with jam-packed sessions, and pandemic-weary people glad to see each other.

Start off here with an engaging look at the Summit's opening general session on cybersecurity, moderated by NARUC President Judith Jagdmann. That's followed up by PUF's Questions of the Day, where conference-goers gave their thoughts on what was important, plus lots of photos to enjoy.

Considering Cybersecurity

The NARUC Winter Summit opened with a general session panel of top-level experts on Protecting the Homeland: Cybersecurity Policy, Priorities, and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The panel included Berkshire Hathaway Energy CEO Bill Fehrman, Deputy Secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy David Turk, and Director at the Executive Office of the President Chris Inglis, all moderated by NARUC President Judith Jagdmann.
