The United States Energy Association begins each calendar year with its widely-recognized and much anticipated State of the Energy Industry Forum. This year, 2022, marked USEA's eighteenth.

The Forum brings together illustrious leaders from the most influential energy trade associations to share their viewpoints and discuss the most important and exciting issues facing the energy industry in the coming year. There is much going on right now.

This January, USEA's eighteenth Annual State of the Industry Forum addressed the latest developments the energy and utilities industry is experiencing surrounding decarbonization, supply chain, new tech, international developments, the infrastructure bill, cybersecurity, and much more. Listen in on these excerpts from the experts.
 

President, EEI, Tom Kuhn: How are we getting to these major carbon reduction emissions? We've seen renewable growth in 2021 continue at a major pace to the extent now that they represent twenty percent of our generation. 

Natural gas has been a very important part of the equation to help us reduce emissions, not only in the United States, but around the world. We have a natural gas sustainability initiative.
