The Annual Energy Outlook provides modeled projections of domestic energy markets through 2050, including cases with different assumptions about macroeconomic growth, world oil prices, and technological progress. The EIA, the statistical and analytical agency within the Department of Energy, is the nation's authoritative source of data, forecasts, and analysis of the U.S. energy market.

Executive Director of the Energy Project, Bipartisan Policy Center, Sasha Meckler: The BPC strives to combine the best data with the most relevant politics in our efforts to develop and advocate robust enduring energy and climate policies.
