A lot of information came from COP26 in Scotland. But now what? Many in the energy and utilities industry want to find out about actionable items and so do many in other industries.

That is where a unique conference comes in, Global Energy Transition 2022, to be held June 14 — 15 in New York and which will unite CEOs and changemakers from the energy, industrial, and government ecosystems, to shed light on the defining issue of our time, and help companies meet the difficult challenge of climate change.

PUF: What's your role in this event, and why is this impactful?

Owen Rolt: I head up our Energy Transition division at Reuters Events, so I oversee what we call our flagship portfolio for the energy sector. It sits across the various energy communities we service and looks to bring together the most senior level leaders from oil and gas, utilities, renewables, finance, and increasingly some of those hard-to-abate industries, to tackle big questions around sustainability and decarbonization.
