NARUC
Ann Rendahl is NARUC First Vice President and a Commissioner at the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission. Paul Kjellander is PUF Senior Advisor, former NARUC and Idaho Commission President.
The November 2025 NARUC Annual Meeting and Education Conference in Seattle marked a change in leadership. Members of the association welcomed NARUC President Ann Rendahl, First Vice President Jehmal Hudson, and Second Vice President Katie Sieben as they bid farewell to NARUC President and Georgia Commissioner Tricia Pridemore.
Unified under a three-year theme of Uniting Regulators and Harmonizing Impact, which aims to bring NARUC members together, each Commissioner also will herald a subtheme each year of their Presidency. The main theme throughout the three years encompasses coordination and strategic alignment, so NARUC can achieve important goals like resource adequacy and affordability by working together.
With that mind, NARUC President Ann Rendahl is also focused on advancing reliable and resilient infrastructure, a key issue right now with increased demand. PUF Senior Advisor Paul Kjellander discussed the future of NARUC with the new leadership.
PUF’s Paul Kjellander: What excites you most as you begin your new role as NARUC President?
Commissioner Ann Rendahl: I am excited to work with all the members, to address the issues that are facing them, and to focus on the work of the association. Together with the Executive Committee members, Executive Director Tony Clark and the NARUC Staff, we will continue the work of ensuring NARUC continues to provide excellent service to the members.
