Energy Scenes
EEI’s Global Electrification Forum, Washington D.C., May 5 - May 9
Grid Leaders from Around the Globe Gathered in D.C.
Each spring, Edison Electric Institute’s International Programs hosts the Global Electrification Forum at its headquarters in Washington D.C. Just on the first day of the week-long conference, speakers represented Australia, Côte d'Ivoire, Denmark, Finland, Jamaica, New Zealand, Switzerland, Tanzania, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Zambia. Plus the United States.

And that was only the first day of the conference.
The diversity of the electric systems across the continents but also the commonalities of them dominated the many conversations onstage and off. And the opportunities for cooperation, system to system and globally, were obvious in almost every discussion.
