Las Vegas is a city that never dims. By day, the desert sun blazes, relentless and fierce. By night, the Strip shimmers in electric brilliance, crowned by the radiant glow of the Sphere, pulsing with color and imagination. But for four unforgettable days, the brightest light in Las Vegas didn’t come from the desert sky or the Vegas Strip. It came from inside the Venetian and Caesars Forum, where nearly forty thousand leaders gathered for RE+, North America’s largest and most powerful clean energy event.

RE+ just celebrated its twenty-first year, and it felt more alive than ever. The energy on the show floor was palpable: one thousand three hundred-plus exhibitors spanning solar, storage, EVs, microgrids, wind, hydrogen, and beyond. Innovation sparkled at every booth. Conversations spilled from education sessions, workshops, and panel rooms out to the hallways, cafes, and networking events, proof that this community doesn’t just attend a conference, it fuels a movement.

During my week, the days were packed with connection, collaboration, and inspiration. Separately, both the RE+ and SEPA Boards gathered, providing a chance to take stock of how far our organizations have come and where we must go next.
