It was a busy week for the industry with major events in New Orleans and Washington, D.C. The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) hosted its 49th National Conference from April 12-15th in the Big Easy. The focus was on grid modernization and the impact of AI and data centers on ratepayer affordability.

Meanwhile, on April 14th, Hispanics in Energy held its Legislative Summit in our nation’s capital to advocate for key policy priorities. Conversations focused on building a robust energy workforce and ensuring long term energy security.

Both gatherings offered a look at the leadership driving the industry forward.
