The NARUC Summer Policy Summit was held July 19-22 in Minneapolis and featured unique perspectives from those on the front lines of utility regulation, policy, and infrastructure challenges. The many sessions and panels were curated to explore strategic insights necessary to navigate a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
The Minnesota Public Utility Commission Staff were onsite to help NARUC Staff with registration and the many logistics of holding a comprehensive conference with a loaded agenda. The conference was presided over by NARUC President and Washington Commissioner Ann Rendahl, along with First VP and Virginia Commissioner Jehmal Hudson, and Second VP and Minnesota Chair Katie Sieben.
Public Utilities Fortnightly, powered by SEPA, was there too and brings in these pages a slice of what went on in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Excerpted here are panels on wildfire and weather, data centers, and clean generation.
