The Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) co-located a Wildfire Technology Breakfast at the NARUC Summer Policy Summit in Minneapolis held July 19-22.
It brought commissioners, utilities, consumer advocates, and technology leaders to work through what integrated wildfire mitigation takes, grounded in SEPA’s new Wildfire Technology Landscape framework, which turns individual tools into shared risk intelligence.
The breakfast, Before the Fire: What Utilities and Regulators Need to Know About Wildfire Technology, included opening remarks from NARUC President Ann Rendahl, and a panel moderated by SEPA CCO Monica Trauzzi with California Commissioner Matt Baker and Xcel Energy – Colorado President Robert Kenney.
