Con Edison Development Acquires 140 MW of Solar Projects in California

Con Edison Development, a subsidiary of Consolidated Edison, acquired six solar photovoltaic projects totaling 140 MW from a PV project portfolio developed through a joint venture between SolarReserve, LLC, and GCL Solar Energy, Inc. (GCL). Ranging in size from 20 MW to 25 MW, the projects acquired by Con Edison Development are located in Tulare, Kings and Fresno counties and have the capacity to power approximately 25,000 homes. The projects are all fully permitted, with interconnection agreements in place.

Dominion Acquires Six Solar Projects from Recurrent Energy

Dominion acquired six solar development projects from Recurrent Energy located in California's Fresno, Kern and Kings counties. Long-term power purchase, interconnection, engineering, procurement and construction - and operation and maintenance agreements have been executed for each of the projects. Recurrent Energy will continue to support Dominion through the completion of these projects. Construction commenced in the first quarter of this year and all of the solar facilities are expected to reach commercial operation in late 2014 or early 2015.
