SolarWorld to Bring 500 kW of Carport Solar Power to Four California Parks

The four carports total 537 kW of power-generation capacity and are expected to generate a total of 17,300,000 kW-hours in renewable energy for the Conejo Recreation and Parks District (CRPD), the local government unit that owns and operates the parks. The project resulted from a partnership between CRPD, SolarWorld and Sustainable Power Group (sPower). SolarWorld is overseeing all phases of the project, including design, engineering, procurement, permitting and construction.
