Here in San Antonio, Question of the Day

Down here, in San Antonio, at NARUC’s Annual Meeting, we’ll be asking the PUF Question of the Day, each day of the conference. How will you answer when asked?

Today’s PUF Questio n of the Day is, What do you want to hear about at this Annual Meeting?

Tomorrow’s Question of the Day will be, Have you used ideas discussed at prior NARUC meetings back home? Any examples?

And Wednesday’s Question of the Day will be, What was the most important thing said during this Annual Meeting?

The PUF team will be all around, to hear and record your answers. Just as importantly, we’ll be giving out fun buttons in appreciation for your sage replies.

These buttons will come in mighty handy in the months ahead, for the many of you who are constantly asked weighty questions about the many controversies in utility regulation and policy.

Some of the buttons say, “I always have the answer.” Some say, “I wish I knew the answer.” Others say, “I know the answer but cannot tell you.” Or, “The answer? That’s not my job.” Or, my favorite, “The easy answers are anything but.”

Down here in San Antonio, be sure to ask a PUF team member for your favorite button. Before they’re all taken. You can even collect and trade the buttons.

Keep in mind, the rarest of the buttons might someday be worth a fortune on eBay. When you do hit pay dirt, selling a rare PUF button, you’ll be able to continue working in utility regulation and policy for the fun of it solely.
