I Have a Question for You

If you read this column, which you evidently do, you’re a keen observer of utility regulation and policy. So, I have a question for you, about trends in electric utility regulation and policy. I’ll come clean; actually, I have twelve questions for you.

Like, how confident are you that the electric industry is on the right track? Like, write one word that best characterizes the state of the industry today?

That’s the first two questions in this year’s PUF Pulse of Power survey. Results will be written up in the June 15 special edition of the mag. Here’s your chance to move the numbers your way.

We made this year’s survey super slick. Might take you a minute and a half to complete it. Might take you two. If it’s taking much more than that, you’re thinking too hard.

How well aligned is current regulation with today’s industry realities? Perfect, change nothing? Or, there’s a yawning gap? Or, somewhere in-between? Just click your pick and move on.

Yes, of course. What you put down is a hundred percent confidential.

So, what’s the potential for utilities to grow revenues and customer value in energy storage? Our best bet? Or, a sucker’s bet. Or, somewhere in-between?Which is it?

This link takes you straight to the PUF Pulse of Power.
