Nancy Schultz was promoted to engineering and construction services director at Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corp. She joined Transco in 1982.

Columbia Energy Services has hired Greg Davis at its Pittsburgh office. He previously worked for the Natural Gas Clearinghouse and Exxon Corp.

James S. Thomson has joined Consolidated Natural Gas Co. as president of its new subsidiary, CNG International Corp. He last worked at Edison International's Mission Energy Co.

Westinghouse Electric Corp. has promoted Randy H. Zwirn, who will replace Frank Bakos at year's end. Zwirn will become executive v.p. and COO of the company's power generation unit. Zwirn's most recent post was g.m. of the power generation operations divisions.

Terrance L. McGill was elected president of Columbia Gulf Transmission Co. of Houston, a Columbia Gas System, Inc. subsidiary. McGill, a principal of Gem Energy Consulting, Inc. replaces R. Larry Robinson, now president of Columbia Gas Transmission Corp. in Charleston, WV.

Jeffery Pepper has joined Duke/Louis Dreyfus, LLC as manager of power transactions. He comes from Enron Gas Liquids, Inc.

Commonwealth Edison named Harold W. Keiser to the new position of chief nuclear officer. Keiser will oversee operations at all six ComEd nuclear plants. He previously was v.p. of nuclear operations for pressurized water reactors.

Bruce W. Wilkinson, former chairman and CEO of CRSS, Inc. was elected to NorAm Energy Corp.'s board of directors.

El Paso Electric Co. has hired James S. Haines, executive v.p. and COO of Western Resources, as CEO and president. Haines will also serve on the board of directors.
