New Opportunities: Iberdrola USA announced that Kevin Walker joined the company as chief operating officer. He was senior v.p. and chief information officer at American Electric Power. Mark Lynch is named president of subsidiaries New York State Electric & Gas and Rochester Gas and Electric. He was president and CEO of the New York ISO.

Alliant Energy promoted PatriciaKampling to executive v.p., CFO and treasurer. John Larson is promoted to senior v.p.-generation, with more responsibilities involving generation-related duties.

CH Energy Group promoted Denise D. VanBuren to the position of corporate secretary and v.p. of corporate communications from v.p. of public affairs and energy efficiency.

American Superconductor (AMSC) promoted Daniel P. McGahn to president and COO from senior v.p. and general manager of AMSC Superconductors.

Constellation Energy Nuclear Group announced that George H. Gellrich joined the company as site v.p. of Calvert Cliffs nuclear plant. He was manager at PSEG’s Salem plant.

PECO named Romulo (Romy) L.Diaz, Jr. as v.p. of external affairs and Anthony(Tony) Gay as associate legal counsel in the Exelon legal department. Gay takes over his position from Diaz.
