This year, DistribuTECH International had a theme of "Experience the Energy Movement," with thirteen educational tracks and a massive exposition floor holding over five hundred booths. The PUF team met up with innovators making a difference with emerging technologies useful to the grid space.

 

PUF's Joseph Paparello: What is your role at AiDash, and how does your company help utilities?

Abhishek Singh: I'm co-founder and CEO of AiDash. AiDash is primarily a company that does monitoring of infrastructure assets at scale using satellite and AI.

Then helping utilities and other traditional industries solve their operations, maintenance, and sustainability problems. The first use case we solved was utility vegetation management through our product, intelligent vegetation management system, which is now deployed at over eighty utilities globally.

In addition to vegetation management for electric utilities, we also do pipeline integrity and encroachment management for gas utilities. The last is a disruption management system, which is storm and wildfire management for electric and gas utilities. These are some of the products we have in the market, which customers are using today.

PUF: When you're talking to utilities, what are the issues around these products?
