The 2025 NARUC Summer Policy Summit was held in Boston from July 27 - 30 with record attendance of some one thousand five hundred who enjoyed the opportunities to learn and discuss the most pressing issues facing utilities and regulators today. A plethora of energy and utility experts were on hand to convene on the big issues, with a bullseye on demand from AI and data centers, and much more.

The PUF and SEPA teams were there too, taking in all the Summit had to offer. In the following pages we bring you a taste of what went on in with excerpts from three scintillating panels, including a conversation led by NARUC President and Georgia Commissioner Tricia Pridemore with Exelon CEO Calvin Butler.

Expert panelists also are featured here, on Unpacking Challenges Facing RTOs and Designing Tariffs for Large Load Customers. Enjoy these excerpts on some of the hot topics from the NARUC Summer Policy Summit in Boston and be sure to attend the NARUC Annual Meeting and Education Conference in November in Seattle, Washington.
