Fortnightly Magazine - November 8 2021

Public power and cooperative power are big in our nation, and part of the future of environmental, social and governance issues.

To find out more, PUF turned to CPS Energy, the nation's largest municipally owned energy utility providing both natural gas and electric service to over a million consumers. That is in and around San Antonio, the nation's seventh largest city. Previously known as City Public Service.

PUF also turned to Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, a cooperative power supplier of forty-five members. That includes forty-two electric distribution cooperatives and public power districts serving over a million electric consumers, in four states. Yes, it is named Tri-State.

Here you will find conversations with CEOs of both entities, Paula Gold-Williams and Duane Highly. Moderated by Dentons' Clint Vince, listen in as they explain what is happening with ESG in their large service territories.
