The 2026 Veterans in Energy Leadership Forum was held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center at National Harbor, Maryland from February 17-19. There was an exhibit hall, panels, networking receptions, and camaraderie in celebration of U.S. veterans and those veterans in the energy industry. Opening remarks were made by Veterans in Energy President Iliana Rentz.

Americans for a Clean Energy Grid convened federal and state leaders at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., to recognize bipartisan champions who have helped advance transmission planning, permitting, and development over the past year.

A resiliency panel was led by NARUC President and Washington Commissioner Ann Rendahl. First Vice President and Virginia Commissioner Jehmal Hudson also took center stage, leading two panels, one on permitting and a demand roundtable on large load tariffs.
