Entergy Corp. has hired John A. Brayman, former president of Ameritech Corp.'s telephone industry services subsidiary in Chicago. Brayman will continue company expansion into nonregulated, domestic energy, and utility-related business as executive v.p. of Entergy Enterprises, Inc. and president of an as-yet unnamed group.J. William Holden was named Southern Electric International's v.p. for operations and development in Latin America and the Caribbean.

GE Supply, a General Electric division, promoted William C. Betke to g.m. of marketing and sourcing.

The Automatic Meter Reading Association (AMRA) installed new officers and 12 trustees on its board. The new president is George Archibald of Severn Trent Water, Ltd. Peter Lukens of North Wales Water Authority is v.p. Filling the second half of their two-year terms are Jim Ariz, treasurer, of Consumers Gas Co. and Ron Chebra, secretary, of Stone & Webster Management Consultants, Inc.

William A. Wise was elected chairman of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA), replacing outgoing chair Richard D. Kinder. Wise is chair, president, and CEO of El Paso Natural Gas Co. Also named were Larry D. Hall of KN Energy, first chairman, and Keith E. Bailey of The Williams Cos., second vice chairman.

Mission Energy Co. has hired Lawrence C. Grundmann, Jr., from Ahlstrom Development Corp., as director of development.

Frederick H. Abrew, president and CEO of Equitable Resources, was elected chairman of the Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition. He succeeds Warren I. Mitchell. Andrew Littefair of MESA, Inc. becomes treasurer, and Phil Marcum of Marcum Natural Gas Services becomes secretary.
